Smarter, smaller, and more scannable QR codes

1 min read

We’ve just rolled out improvements to make your QR codes more flexible, scannable, and easier to use—especially in space-constrained environments.

1. New QR Size Options

What’s New:
You can now choose between two QR code sizes:

  • Normal: 200px × 200px
  • Small: 100px × 100px

Problem Solved:
Previously, QR codes were fixed at one size, limiting use in compact labels, product tags, or narrow layouts.

Use Case:
Ideal for users printing on small surfaces such as inventory labels, shelf tags, product packaging, or ID stickers—where space is limited.

2. Shortened Embedded URL

What’s New:
We’ve optimized and shortened the embedded link within the QR code.

Problem Solved:
Long URLs often made smaller QR codes unreadable or unreliable when scanned.

Use Case:
Makes QR codes more reliable in small-size applications and improves scan success on lower-resolution cameras.

3. Download Button Toggle

What’s New:
A new “Show/Hide Download” button has been added in the QR Item Tracker board view. You can now download each QR code individually with ease.

Problem Solved:
Downloading QR codes used to be less accessible or required external tools.

Use Case:
Perfect for teams needing to print or save specific item QR codes for offline use, physical labels, or sharing.

⚠️ Note: The circular QR design remains available only in normal size due to design constraints. Scaling it down would compromise the embedded data, making the QR code unreadable.
